18/08/09 Spanish solar - 20% price reductions on most kits
All kits, with one exception, are reduced in price by 20%. This is due to reduced solar panel market prices. The solar panel price reductions in turn are due to overcapacity in the spanish and european supply chain, caused by the drastic impact of reduction in incentives for 'solar orchard' installations.
Spain has thus missed her chance to become the world leader in commercial application of alternative energy. We do not know why incentives were so deeply slashed!
But one man's loss becomes another man's opportunity!
All Spanish Solar Kits are now 20% cheaper or offer at least 20% more power for your Euro!
We no longer offer 12 volt panels nor regulators or inverter/chargers, as the solar world has now moved on to higher voltage panels (unwanted in the commercial world - and thus good value for money for the individual 'stand alone' cortijo). Coupled with more sophisticated Maximum Power Point Trackers (MPPT) we are now able to design systems which maximise our clients harvest of the sun, and free them from dependence on greedy utility companies.
