Who are we?

The Spanish Solar team live a solar life. We do not suffer power outages, nor voltage spikes.... But we are careful about the power we use. Generally we cook and heat with other fuels (bottled gas, gasoleo (red diesel) or wood).

We turn off the TV and Radio when we are not actively watching or listening - we turn those things completely off - i.e. take them off standby - when we go out or to bed. Energy misers such as the "PSX power safer" help us do that. We turn off the light when we leave a room - we have all fitted low energy bulbs and A rated energy sparing appliances. Most of us have electric fridge/freezers - but some have gas appliances to keep the food fresh.

We all wash our clothes, and those with larger solar systems can "hot wash" - those with smaller systems use a "cold wash" setting and a cold wash detergent.

Spanish Solar is a name used for the solar energy business run on a "sole trader" basis by Robert Aled Davies NIE and VAT number X2058697-J (with a lot of help from his friends!).

Warehouse, Stock and Delivery

To keep our prices down we stock very few items - Our suppliers carry stock for us and frequently we will drop-ship directly from the supplier. This ensures we always ship current specification equipment - expect delivery in 4 weeks from order confirmation and deposit receipt on most items.

Terms and Conditions

Equipment 50% at order confirmation. Balance when we notify you your order is ready to ship

Installation 100% in cash - day by day

Payment by bank transfer – bank details and amount to be transferred will be advised prior to order confirmation – UK and Spanish accounts are kept by Spanish Solar

Arrangements for financing your solar system purchases can be financed by Cajamar Bank, who offer special terms for renewable energy investments (not applicable to Pool Heating kits, Security, Wattplus products, or Surveys)

Ownership of merchandise changes hands at the point you sign carriers docket for reception of goods, or carrier leaves goods at your address without your signature

Faulty goods are exchanged with minimum paperwork - but agreement to exchange MUST be agreed in advance via email or phone, and an ROG number assigned

Customer pays freight for ROG (Return of Goods) - Spanish Solar pays freight for subsequent return of repaired goods. We repair or replace at our discretion

Complaints book. As required by Spanish consumer law this establishment has a complaints book at the disposal of customers
